Cloud Databases
Introduction
Cloud databases are cloud platform database instances identified and returned by Device42 autodiscovery jobs. You can view the resource details, related databases, and topography maps of cloud database items.
View Cloud Databases
Select Resources > Cloud Databases from the Device42 menu to display the Cloud Databases list page.

Device42 displays the Cloud Databases list page. On this page, you can Search by resource name (1), or filter the list by Cloud Account -> Cloud Vendor (2) and Vendor Resource Subtype (4).
Click More Filters (3) to add additional filters to the search.
The Cloud Databases list page also includes an Advanced Search option for constructing more specific searches. Instructions for this option are available on the Advanced Search Feature documentation page.

Click on the name of a cloud database to see details about that database. You can use the links under Database/Schema to view further information about the database and its related resources.

Click Resource Map on the top left of the page to see the topography map for the cloud database. You can select which Resource Types to include in the map.

Application Group Calculation
You can view a visualization of the Application Group calculation for the cloud database by clicking on the Application Group Calculation tab at the top of the page.

Edit Cloud Databases
Click the Edit button on the Info page of a cloud database to add or change Notes and Tags for the database, toggle Yes or No for In Service, and select or add a Service Level value. You can also add and edit Custom Field values.

Click Save to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.
Delete Cloud Databases
Select one or more databases on the Cloud Databases list page and from the Actions dropdown, select Fast Background Delete, Fast Background Archive, or Delete with Detailed Confirmation.
